Prior to joining Thin and Healthy I was unhappy with myself. I felt fat and ugly. I hated putting on good clothes because I hated how I looked and felt. I was miserable. It felt as though no matter what I tried the weight would not come off. I was frustrated with myself and, in turn, took that anger out on my husband and children.

I have tried a variety of ways to lose weight before joining Thin and Healthy- from Dr. Phil’s weight lose plan, Slim Fast, and many more. None of these programs worked.

While on the program at Thin and Healthy I was able to enjoy many of my favorite foods. I was able to eat pizza, ice cream, and chocolate-all of my favorites.

I feel absolutely amazing. I went from a size 18 to a size 12. I am in the best shape of my life. I feel great about myself. I am confident and it shows on the inside and out. This program has taught me that it is all about a life style change. I can still eat the foods I love; it all about portions and moderation.

One of the other reasons I joined Thin and Healthy was for my kids. I have a three year old son and 1 year old daughter. I want them to know that exercising is fun and it doesn’t have to be a chore. I don’t want my kids growing up seeing me step on the scale, frustrated and angry with my weight. Kids have enough struggles in life; I don’t want them to worry about weight as well.

I have created much better habits since joining Thin and Healthy. I have become an avid runner. I am currently training for my first 10K in October. My goal is to then run a half marathon. Not only have created better habits for myself, but also for my family. The meals that I prepare are from the Thin and Healthy cookbook. I feel that exercise and eating healthy are the key component in living and maintaining a healthy life style. When you eat well and exercise you feel better about yourself and when you feel good about yourself you are more confident about yourself.

Losing weight does not happen over night, but with hard work and determination the weight will come off and stay off for good. I feel amazing physically, emotionally and mentally. I feel better about myself. I have more energy to play with my kids. And each day I am living life to the fullest. ~Live to Love~
